Under the standard developed by SAI Global in conjunction with MLC, it means Wealthfarm had been independently assessed and shown to have systems and processes in place to support the delivery of quality financial advice.

Financial Planning 9000 - Quality Management for Financial Planning Practices (FP9000) is based on SAI Global’s Quality Endorsed Company program. It incorporates all of the requirements of ISO 9001 and thereby provides an excellent framework of internationally accepted quality business management principles and practices.

The certification program for Quality Financial Planning businesses is based on the ‘five tick’ Quality Endorsed Company program, which is used in industries as diverse as Law, Household Goods and Manufacturing. The program looks at activities at the heart of a financial planning practice and ensures the highest standards in risk management, service delivery, internal processes and customer communications are in place; but more importantly embraced by all employees of the business.

SAI Global developed the program in conjunction with MLC, and it builds on the success of MLC’s Quality Advice Accreditation already in place. Greg Miller, General Manager of MLC Advice Solutions comments:

This new program allows the Quality Endorsed Financial Planning Practice to benefit from SAI Global’s highly recognisable five ticks quality standards mark, and gives the customer a level of comfort that the financial planning business they are dealing with is a quality endorsed practice.
